Biography
I’m a Chartered Legal Executive in the International Serious Injury Team in London, having qualified in March 2018.
I specialise in acting for individuals who’ve sustained life changing injuries from accidents with an international element. This can either be a UK National injured while overseas or foreign individuals who are injured while in England.
What inspired you to get into law?
I always found the law to be such an interesting and vast subject, there isn't really an area of everyday life where the law isn't somehow implied and so I decided that I wanted to go on and study this at University.
On graduating, I took on a paralegal role at a small firm in my home town, helping people recover damages following injuries sustained in road traffic accidents. I found that I really enjoyed the investigative side of dealing with personal injury claims.
I moved to London and studied my CILEx qualifications at University in the evenings while working in the day.
I’m passionate about helping people. My clients have suffered serious injuries, which have impacted every part of their lives. I find that my compassionate and understanding nature helps to guide them through the claims process and achieve justice.
What is the most rewarding aspect of your role?
I find it so rewarding getting to know my inspirational clients and hearing about how hard they work at their rehabilitation. I enjoy working with them to achieve a settlement which gives them some closure and allows them to move forward with their lives.
What do you do away from the office?
I like to think of myself as rather handy in the kitchen, so I’m often found testing out new recipes and baking up a storm (much to the delight of my family!). I love spending time with my partner and with our families, taking trips to the beach, long walks through the countryside and exploring new countries! I’m also a keen skier and a big rugby fan (the latter as a spectator!).
