My work includes the investigation of accidents involving personal injury. It includes road traffic collisions and other types of accidents such as injuries in the work place. I liaise with Police forces and other relevant bodies in order to obtain as much information as possible to determine if the clients have a viable claim for compensation for their injuries. I often have to visit some of the scenes to take photographs and measurements. I attend at the Courts to give support to the clients and at the same time obtain further evidence as to the clients accident.
In addition, I assist other departments in tracing witnesses and clients who have moved without informing them of their new addresses. I also work for our asbestos team in obtaining statements from witnesses and trying to trace potential witnesses as well as enquire into the history of premises where they were exposed to asbestos materials.
What inspired you to get into law?
