I am a Senior Associate in the Serious Injury Department at Newcastle with specialism in cases of Catastrophic Injury and utmost severity.
I act for both adults and children, and I am an accredited Brain Injury Specialist by APIL, the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers.
I fight at the outset for early rehabilitation and support following serious injury, which can be devastating for the injured person but also their family.
Having access to specialists in the field of rehabilitation will give you the best chance of maximising your recovery following your injury.
What inspired you to get into law?
I enjoy working with and helping people following serious injuries, and my work in the field of serious injury allows me to achieve that.
What is the most rewarding aspect of your role?
Working with families and clients following devastating accidents, who are a constant inspiration with their fight and drive to recover their lives.
What do you like most about working for Irwin Mitchell?
The opportunity to work for the leading National law firm for serious injury, with its experience, resources and access to specialist support was too good to miss.
What do you do away from the office?
I'm a keen cyclist and compete in amateur races when time and fitness permits. Living in North Yorkshire lets me get out into the hilly areas with no traffic!
I'm also a season ticket holder for Newcastle United and live in the eternal hope that we win something in my lifetime!
