I am a Solicitor in the Medical Negligence team in our London office. I joined the Irwin Mitchell team in 2016 as a paralegal. I then undertook my training contract with the firm before qualifying into the medical negligence team in 2019.
I specialise in representing people who have been injured as a result of medical negligence by hospitals, healthcare providers or by their GP. My expertise covers a full range of medical issues such as Fatal Claims; delay in diagnosis of cancer; Orthopaedic claims and mis-prescription of medication.
I also assist other members of my team and have experience in various high value and complex cases involving adult and child brain injuries and spinal injuries, with a particular focus on Cauda Equina and spinal tumours.
On a daily basis I work hard to achieve the best results for my clients, by achieving the most compensation that I can for them and helping them to access the rehabilitation and support that they require.
What Inspired You To Get Into Law?
Being able to support and guide people at the most difficult time in theirs and their family’s lives is the main reason that I chose to get into both Law and medical negligence, in particular.
What Is The Most Rewarding Aspect Of Your Role?
Most people come to us with questions about their care and it is extremely rewarding to be able to help them through the medical negligence process to getting the answers that they want. I then work alongside a compassionate and experienced team who work very hard to make sure that our clients not only have those answers but are also able to obtain the assistance that they need to move forwards with their lives.
What Do You Like About Working At Irwin Mitchell?
Both Irwin Mitchell and all of my colleagues there are dedicated to ensuring that we provide the best service to every client. Being a multi-service firm, we are able to offer our client’s a wide range of support beyond just the expertise that they have come to us for initially.
As well as helping our client’s Irwin Mitchell is also dedicated to supporting charities across the country. Both in and out of work I am able to work closely with and support several charities that are there when our client’s need them most.
What Do You Do Away From The Office?
Outside of work, I love to spend time with family and friends. I enjoy going to the theatre and travelling whenever I can.
