Alex Wild

Senior Associate Solicitor


Alex is a Senior Associate in our London office. He has a mixed practice combining contentious and non-contentious insolvency experience with corporate restructuring and directors’ disqualification and advice.

He has experience on a range of cases from within this area: from working with banks and businesses experiencing distress, to helping entrepreneurs to buy assets; and from advising insolvency practitioners on the sale and recovery of assets, to advising directors on insolvency regimes and remedies. Because of his wide range of experience Alex is able to give very focused care to clients going through, or involved with, distressed businesses.

Alex is a regular speaker and presenter at insolvency conferences, in particular on behalf of the Association of Business Recovery Professionals and the South Eastern Society of Chartered Accountants. He was also shortlisted as a ‘Rising Star’ at the Turnaround, Restructuring & Insolvency Awards in 2016.

  • Advising liquidators of international Ponzi scheme on cross jurisdictional fraud, asset tracing and antecedent transaction proceedings.
  • Advising national retailer in defence of fraud and antecedent transactions proceedings.
  • Advising on the restructuring of a national gym and leisure chain.
  • Advising on the restructuring of a national telecommunications company.
  • Advising creditors on the Special Administration of MF Global UK Limited.
