Zahra Pabani Joins From Shakespeare Martineau

Leading national law firm Irwin Mitchell has appointed a new partner to its Family Law team.

Top-ranked lawyer Zahra Pabani joins from Shakespeare Martineau and will divide her time between Irwin Mitchell’s Birmingham and London offices. She has over 20 years’ experience in advising clients on family and divorce law.

With an interest in helping clients to protect their wealth, Zahra has particular expertise in acting for professionals and high-net-worth clients on protecting their personal and business assets before and after relationship breakdown. With a proven track record in and outside of the courtroom, Zahra also brings expertise in collaborative law.

Zahra’s broad network and strong opinions mean she is no stranger to the camera. She will continue to raise awareness of the most important issues facing her clients.

Zahra joins the highly regarded national Family Law team at Irwin Mitchell, which has enjoyed numerous successes in recent years.

Birmingham-based partners Clare Wiseman and Sarah Balfour were both in cutting-edge cases in the Court of Appeal in 2018 with separate cases, Brack v Brack and Hart v Hart respectively.  The team recently won the Private Client – Excellence in Client Service award at the 2019 Birmingham Law Society Legal Awards.

The London Family Law team welcomed partner Toby Hales from Seddons in January 2019, with four lawyers promoted to senior associate shortly afterwards. The latest Legal 500 rankings describe Toby as ‘a highly skilled lawyer’.
