Andrea Jones Joins Fast-Growing And Award-Winning Team

Irwin Mitchell Private Wealth has appointed a new senior associate solicitor to its Tax, Trust and Estates team in Leeds as it seeks to further grow across the North of England.

Andrea Jones joins from Ward Hadaway in Leeds where she advises high-net-worth and commercial clients on wills and trusts, estate administration, tax planning, powers of attorney and court of protection issues. She is also experienced in dealing with international matters and inheritance planning.

With over a decade of experience as a solicitor, Andrea is also a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) and is a committee member for the STEP Yorkshire branch. Andrea is also a founding member and vice-chair of the Collaborative Professionals Network which is a collaboration of several professional bodies in Yorkshire to promote networking between legal, accounting and business professionals in the Yorkshire region.

The award-winning Irwin Mitchell Private Wealth team is one of the largest such outfits in the country and is built around four main areas of law: Tax, Trusts and Estates; Residential Property; Family Law; and Will, Trust and Estate Disputes.

The Leeds team is also home to partner Paula Myers who heads up the Will, Trust and Estate Disputes team at Irwin Mitchell Private Wealth as well as family law partner Teresa Davidson. Partner James Laycock also joined the team from Gordon’s in November 2017.
