Event To Demonstrate How Technology Can Improve Team Relationships And Create Better Leaders
As part of Leeds Digital Festival, three Leeds-based businesses will come together on Thursday 26th April to host an informative ‘Bringing Together Team Dynamics in the Digital Age for Better Leadership’ session.
Within the offices of Irwin Mitchell Solicitors, experts from Deloitte and Calls9 will reveal how people and technology can work hand-in-hand to revolutionise their workplace.
The session - led by Jessica Dooley, Head of Business Chemistry® for Deloitte and Pete Mills, Co-Founder and CCO of Calls9 - will explore ways leaders can better understand the strengths and key skills of their teams and how technology can get the very best from them.
As part of Jessica’s offering, she will share insights into Business Chemistry® - a powerful research-based analytical tool. She explains: “Technology is sometimes accused of replacing human interaction, but it offers a huge enabling capability. We’ve seen Business Chemistry® transform the way in which businesses operate by building trust and generating truly collaborative working environments.”
Pete, who will share best practice on engaging team members with online collaboration tools, as well as managing teams through internal communication tools, comments: “Technology has the potential to revolutionise the way we work. However, if it is to truly make an impact to well-being in the workplace, we must lead it, not be led by it.
“The session will be valuable for those professionals seeking improved team relationships and a better understanding of what drives human behaviour both online and offline.”
Irwin Mitchell are backing the event and are keen to assist Deloitte and Calls9 in unravelling the common misconception that technology will and should replace people, when in fact, adapting to change is key.
