Festive Fun Raises More Than £3,000 For Charity
A team of lawyers swapped the courtroom for the grotto as they helped kick-start the countdown to Christmas.
Staff at Irwin Mitchell’s Birmingham office volunteered to run Santa’s Grotto at a Christmas Fayre organised by the charity NICE.
Clare Pearson, Peter Sharples, Amna Kifayat, Farzana Ashraf and Thomas Gregory became Santa’s little helpers allowing children to tell Santa what presents they wanted ahead of the big day. The volunteers then handed out gifts for children to enjoy ahead of December 25.
The day, at Canon Hill House in Moseley, also featured a variety of festive craft events and face painting by Irwin Mitchell staff. It raised more than £3,100 for NICE, which helps children and adults with movement disorders related to disabilities such as cerebral palsy, Parkinson’s, multiple sclerosis and stroke.
