Irwin Mitchell Will Sponsor Delivery Of The CUCT’s Ambulant Cerebral Palsy Sessions
National law firm Irwin Mitchell and Cambridge United Community Trust (CUCT) have announced that the law firm, which has an office in Cambridge, is to sponsor the delivery of the CUCT’s Ambulant Cerebral Palsy football sessions for the next 12 months.
The sessions are held on Saturday mornings, 10-11am, at Impington Village College Sports Centre, Cambridge. They are run on a seven-week cycle and aim to encourage those with cerebral palsy to be involved with sport.

Cerebral palsy is a condition that affects muscle control and movement, usually caused by an injury to the brain before, during or shortly after birth. Children with cerebral palsy can have difficulties controlling muscles and movements as they grow and develop.
Cerebral palsy football is for ambulant players with cerebral palsy and other neurological disorders, such as stroke and traumatic brain injury.

Irwin Mitchell is currently running its ‘Don’t Quit, Do It’, campaign which aims to promote disability sport. It was also sponsor of Parallel London and Official Legal Services Provider of the 2017 World Para Athletics Championships that were held in London.
