Irwin Mitchell Colleagues Will Also Volunteer Their Time In Support Of League Fixtures
Law firm Irwin Mitchell is proud to be named as the official programme partners of Saints Foundation Pan Disability League.
The league is a community organisation that works for social good, using sport to support disabled children and young adults throughout the Hampshire area.
Irwin Mitchell’s partnership with Saints Foundation will provide equipment, coaching, kit and trophies for the teams in the league, enhancing the services it can offer to those who look to sport as a form of recovery and rehabilitation.
The law firm’s donation will also allow Saints Foundation to continue developing the Pan Disability League as it moves towards its second season, increasing growth, participation and inclusion for people of all physical and cognitive disabilities.
In addition to its sponsorship, colleagues from Irwin Mitchell’s Southampton office will volunteer their time in support of league fixtures, events and fundraising activities.
This is a great opportunity for Irwin Mitchell employees to make and fulfil pledges as part of its ‘Be Part Of It’ initiative to support disability sport.
Expert Opinion
“Many of us at IM have seen first-hand some of the life-changing injuries our clients have; so we appreciate and understand just how important a role sport plays with recovery and rehabilitation. We’re delighted to be announced as the official programme partners of Saints Foundation’s Pan Disability League, as the Foundation gives disabled people and young adults opportunities and support they vitally need. This is something we’re really passionate about assisting, as reflected by our Don’t Quit, Do It campaign, which helps make disability and inclusive sport more accessible.” Justine Spencer - Partner
Sam Fulling, Saints Foundation Manager, said: “Saints Foundation's Pan Disability League is a great example of community organisations working together for social good, and Saints Foundation is delighted to have such a strong supporter of disability activities in Irwin Mitchell on board as a programme partner. We have had a successful first year with over 200 participants involved, and believe that over the course of the next few years the league will significantly increase participation at grassroots level.”
