Seventh Year For Prestigious Property Networking Event
No-Cannes-Do - the annual industry property get-together, held today, is now in its seventh year. Although originally designed for those of the property world not going to the annual MIPIM conference in the south of France, such has been its popularity that it is now firmly on the calendar for many of those attending MIPIM too!
In fact, the organisers of the event foresaw the growing need to accommodate both events last year and, once again, No-Cannes-Do has been set a week before the official MIPIM conference begins - so that agents, investors and property professionals can "do both" and get in training for the events in France next week.
London's No-Cannes-Do is sponsored by a consortium of companies involved in the real estate and construction industry, including developers IDI Gazeley and Canmoor, agents DTRE, law firm Irwin Mitchell, construction group McLaren, and architects Michael Sparks Associates. Over 450 guests will be entertained at the OXO Tower throughout the day and given the chance to network with fellow professionals.
David Turner of DTRE is giving the welcome speech and some words about this year's charity, LandAid, who work to improve the lives of disadvantaged young people in the UK. The sponsors of No-Cannes-Do have promised to match any funds raised on the day and in 2015 were able to make a substantial donation to the Wegener’s Granulomatosis charity, Wegener’s Trust.
According to Michael Sparks of Michael Sparks Associates: "This is a fantastic networking event for anyone involved in the property and construction industry and invitations are highly sought after. We are extremely proud to be associated with No-Cannes-Do."
