Kevin Sinfield, MBE Delivers Talk On Leadership And Motivation
The most successful captain in Leeds Rhinos' history, Kevin Sinfield, MBE displayed the skills that made him a natural leader during his career at a specially arranged presentation at Irwin Mitchell.
The national law firm hosted the evening of motivation and inspiration to help raise money for the Leeds Rhinos Foundation, the official charity of the Leeds Rhinos.
Kevin was recently named Vice-President of the charity and the event gave him a chance to look back at his storied career and share successful tips with an enthralled audience.
The evening was held at the law firm's Leeds office and the star turn Kevin Sinfield delivered a powerful presentation on the characteristics that guided him through the ups and downs during a near 20 year professional rugby league career.
Kevin captained his club and country and spent his whole rugby league career in a city where he is loved and respected by Leeds residents. Away from the pitch, he proved to be just as adept at passing on advice as he was at passing the ball.
During his talk, the seven time Super League champion went through the key aspects that make a successful team including the right culture, leadership, attitude and mental toughness.
The highest point-scorer in Leeds Rhinos history said: “I am delighted to be a Vice President of The Leeds Rhinos Foundation who do great work with children and adults to help influence and positively change their lives.”
After the talk the attendees were given an opportunity to meet Kevin and get signed copies of his new book ‘My League Years’.
Peter Morris, family law expert at Irwin Mitchell is a trustee of the Leeds Rhinos Foundation and was delighted with how the evening went.
