Irwin Mitchell Top in 23 Areas of Law In Annual Legal 500 Report

Irwin Mitchell’s personal legal services teams across the UK have been ranked as market-leading once again by the Legal 500 independent guide to law.

The firm’s personal legal services department secured 23 number one rankings with 74 recommended lawyers in the long-standing independent guide to the legal industry – both improvements on the 2014 guide.

The Legal 500 2015 UK report ranks the firm as number one for Clinical Negligence, Personal Injury, Family, Contentious Trusts and Probate, Court of Protection, Education and Travel.

The firm maintained its strong rankings in many other areas of law across the country including the Public Law team, which covers civil liberties and human rights, while the firm was also ranked for Professional Negligence, Personal Tax, Product Liability and Healthcare.

Irwin Mitchell’s new offices in Southampton and Cambridge which only opened in the past 18 months have both being recognised highly in the rankings with top tier positions for Personal Injury in both regions and Cambridge also being ranked number one for clinical negligence and picking up a recommendation for Family Law.

In the past year Irwin Mitchell also acquired boutique private wealth firm Berkeley Law in November 2014 which was highly recommended in the Legal 500 guide, and recently announced strong financial results and that it would be taking on a record number of trainees, as part of the firm’s continued growth.
