Medical Negligence Lawyers Instructed By Devastated Family
An inquest to investigate the circumstances surrounding the death of a father-of-three following an alleged delay in getting him to hospital is scheduled to start on Tuesday 3rd March at 10am.Jeff Corbin, from Stoke-on-Trent, in Staffordshire, started to suffer from shortness of breath and chest pain at his home and his family called for an ambulance on 20th April last year. When paramedics arrived the 59-year-old had suffered a fatal heart attack.
An inquest into his death is due to begin this week at Stoke-on-Trent Coroner’s Court with HM Coroner Mr Ian Smith, where Jeff’s family, including wife Kathryn will be attending and are being represented by medical negligence experts at law firm Irwin Mitchell.
Rebecca Risby, a specialist medical negligence lawyer at Irwin Mitchell, said: “This has been an extremely difficult time for Jeff’s family who lost a loving father under very tragic circumstances.
“Although nothing will bring him back, the family cannot begin to move on until they have more answers. They very much hope that the inquest will shed more light on the circumstances which led to Jeff’s death.”
