Results Reflect Investment In Firm’s Commercial Offering
The strength of Irwin Mitchell’s fast-growing Business Legal Services (BLS) team has been clearly demonstrated again with another set of impressive results in the latest Chambers & Partners directory.
The independent publication, which grades solicitors and barristers throughout the UK, ranked 43 lawyers from within its BLS division as ‘leading individuals’ in their field.
BLS had six top ranked individuals across areas including Planning, Professional Negligence and Restructuring and also saw its Real Estate team Manchester improve its league table position. In London, Real Estate maintained its prestigious top spot in the ‘mid-market’ category after moving up last year and the RCG department in Sheffield improved on its tier three position in 2014 by moving up to level one.
The firm’s Construction team in Yorkshire entered Chamber’s league table for the first time as did the Pensions department in Manchester.
Irwin Mitchell’s commitment to investing and expanding its Business Legal Services team was also recently recognised with a strong performance in the latest Legal 500 league tables. Published earlier this month, Irwin Mitchell’s BLS division had 60 of its lawyers recommended. It improved its ranking in four areas and secured league table positions in six categories for the first time.
Expert Opinion
“These results build on our excellent Legal 500 feedback and reflect the investment that we have made in our business team recently. It is pleasing to see that some of our new appointments are already making an impression and I expect that we will make further progress in the next 12 months.
“I’m delighted and very proud of these results and once again I’d like to thank everyone at the firm for their hard work as we continue to establish Irwin Mitchell as a leading player in the commercial arena.”
