Team From Irwin Mitchell Support Leeds Children’s Hospital
A Leeds law firm showed their support for Leeds Children’s Hospital Appeal by taking part in a fire walk on hot coals.Court of Protection experts Laura Hassett, Grace Armstrong, Saika Kauser, Katie Bullock, Rebecca Haigh and Dan Snedden, from leading national law firm Irwin Mitchell, faced their fears and took on the dash across the coals with a core temperature of around 500 degrees Celsius.
The brave team were raising money for the Leeds Children’s Hospital appeal which looks after children from birth to 16 throughout the Yorkshire region, providing a wide range of specialist medical services for all of its patients. The appeal aims to raise money to make the wards, theatres, waiting rooms and day care areas more child and family friendly. As well as this, it hopes to raise money for even better equipment throughout the wards, so the hospital can provide state-of-the-art care for its patients.
The team have so far raised over £700 for the Leeds Children’s Hospital.

The team did a fantastic job and took on this amazing challenge to raise money for the Leeds Children’s hospital Appeal, which is a great cause.
“Through our work we have seen the impact having a child who needs 24 hour care can have on a family and therefore we understand just how important the work of the charity is. It provides invaluable support and resources to improve their quality of life and help with their development and rehabilitation.
“We’re all very proud to have completed the challenge and we’re pleased to have raised so much money for the Leeds Children’s Hospital appeal.”
