Irwin Mitchell Advises On The Deal
Leeds Brewery has created 15 jobs after launching a new pub and restaurant in the city earlier this month.
Established in 2007 by Sam Moss and Michael Brothwell, Leeds Brewery will open its sixth venue, the Lamb & Flag, on Church Row in a Grade II listed building next to Leeds Minster.
Other pubs in the group are The White Swan, The Midnight Bell, The Brewery Tap and the Duke of York.
Sam Moss, director of Leeds Brewery, said: "When we established the brewery eight years ago, there was no independent brewer in Leeds and since then we have grown the business to be the largest brewery in the city, producing up to 70,000 pints a week.
The Lamb and Flag will be like our other pubs. Beer will be central to the drinks menu but there should be something for everyone with a great wine menu, spirit selection and soft drinks range. The venue itself is in a great location and we are ensuring the Lamb and Flag reflects the history of the area with its décor."
David Cowgill, Real Estate associate at the Leeds office of Irwin Mitchell advised Leeds Brewery on the deal.
