Family’s Hope For Answers As They Instruct Specialist Military Lawyers To Investigate
An inquest into the death of an air cadet who died of a heart condition while on an Air Cadet training camp is due to take place on 28th August 2015 at Walthamstow Coroner’s Court.
David Karo Dibie Efemena was 14-years-old when he died in March 2014 during a camping trip at Bramley Defence Training Estate in Hampshire.
His parents Zoe Mukoro-Dibie and Felix Efemena Dibie. have instructed specialist military injuries lawyers at Irwin Mitchell to investigate his death and to represent them at the inquest which is expected to take seven working days and will conclude in September.

Expert Opinion
“This was a truly tragic incident and the family has been left distraught at losing David. They have many questions about what happened and feel that they are having to fight so hard just to find out the truth.
“David’s family feel that this inquest is crucial because they believe that a Service Inquiry Report by the RAF has not told them everything they want to know about the supervision and communications involved on the site during the camping trip and its authorisation process.
“We hope that the full inquest will shed further light on the sad events in March which may highlight important lessons which can be learnt to prevent this situation from happening again.” Geraldine McCool - Consultant
