National Law Firm To Enter Into Venture With Insurer
Irwin Mitchell today announces that it is to enter into a venture with respected insurer esure and will form an ABS offering market-leading services to clients.
The tie-up between the top 20 law firm and FTSE250-listed esure cements a long-standing relationship between the two businesses and will see a dedicated team in Sheffield providing legal representation for esure customers, who are injured in motor accidents where another party was at fault. The new venture, called IMe Law Limited, is licensed as an ABS by the Solicitors Regulatory Authority (SRA).
"This is very positive news for us and for our clients. It is a partnership between two companies committed to high standards of client care and ethics and our intention is to continue to deliver a market-leading service.
"We have a long-standing relationship with esure and this is a further commitment by both businesses to that relationship for the longer term. It is a clear vote of confidence in the levels of service we have offered to esure’s customers over many years and that will continue.
"Establishing this ABS is an innovative structure in keeping with the changing legal market. It again demonstrates our determination as a business to be at the forefront of the developing legal sector and also our continued commitment to this type of work and in ensuring clients continue to get the best possible outcomes." Andrew Tucker Irwin Mitchell CEO
Gordon Hannah, Chief Operating Officer at esure, said: “We are committed to the effective and speedy recovery of uninsured losses for injured customers.
“With the creation of IMe Law we are building on our long-standing relationship with Irwin Mitchell and will continue to deliver – and indeed enhance – our service to esure customers who require legal representation.”
