Expert Opinion
All too often we see the devastating impact mistakes and failings can have on patients. In this case, former patients will undoubtedly be very concerned at hearing that 50 people have suffered with complications after treatment.

“The first priority should be to ensure those affected by the situation are given the best possible help and support. It is also crucial that patients are reassured that action has been taken to prevent further incidents like this in the future.

“There remain questions over how long it has taken for the referral to take place, but it is positive the hospital is taking action to ensure appropriate care is provided to patients.” Lisa Jordan - Partner
