Specialist Lawyers Call On Authorities To Investigate Thoroughly

Safety experts have urged that lessons must be learned in relation to what caused a building in the Brook Hill area of Sheffield to collapse on Saturday (March 23rd), with four people needing to be rescued by emergency services.

South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue were called to the three-storey building on the afternoon and quickly rescued four people from the site before searching the site for other casualties.

Investigations are continuing into the incident, which left those rescued with injuries not thought to be life-threatening – although two were taken to Northern General Hospital for treatment.

More than 20 people living in the terraced building are now thought to be seeking alternative accommodation as a result of the problems, which are not believed to have been linked to an explosion or fire.
