Leeds Office Of Law Firm Provides Support To Charity
Legal experts at Irwin Mitchell’s Leeds office have lent their support to learning disability charity Mencap by supporting its recent Grand Prize Draw raffle.
New Mencap Leeds CEO Cath Lee was on hand to pick the winners in the December 7th draw which Irwin Mitchell supported with a donation of £250.
This contribution helped the raffle to raise over £4000 for Mencap and the money will make a big contribution to the key funding the charity needs to continue its work with the 300 families it supports.
Irwin Mitchell has a long-standing relationship with Mencap in Leeds and members of the firm’s Leeds team have supported and attended a number of previous events including last year’s Irish Céilí Night, Leeds Rhinos Rugby Quiz and Fabulous Fifties Ball.
Cathryn Godfrey, a personal injury expert at the law firm, said: “Many of our clients have benefitted from the services offered by Mencap and they do great work to provide a range of support services to children with learning disabilities.
“We’re delighted to be able to continue our relationship with such a worthwhile local charity and to help them raise vital funds it needs to sustain its amazing work under the leadership of new CEO Cath Lee.
“At Irwin Mitchell we pride ourselves on our work in the communities served by each of our offices and recognise that the story for our clients does not end once the legal case is closed.”
