Trio Of Employment Appointments In Leeds Senior Hires Will Support Future Growth 05.01.2012 The Leeds office of national law firm, Irwin Mitchell, has again boosted its business legal services team with three senior appointments to its employment department.Andrew Parascandolo joins Irwin Mitchell as an Associate from Squire Sanders and Dempsey. Andrew advises businesses of all sizes in both the public and private sectors and is a disability discrimination and redundancy specialist. He was called to the Bar of England and Wales in 2003 and qualified as a Solicitor in 2006. Andrew has been involved in a number of complex tribunal claims and restructuring exercises and regularly drafts and advises organisations on service agreements and contracts of employment. He also works alongside senior executives on compromise agreements and exit packages. The department has also been boosted by Associate, Ami Naru (nee Sanghera), who relocates to Irwin Mitchell in Leeds from the firm’s Birmingham office.Ami, who is a member of the Employment Lawyers Association, joined Irwin Mitchell’s Birmingham employment team in October 2009, having previously worked at two other international firms. Qualifying as a lawyer in 2000, Ami regularly advises a range of corporate clients in different business sectors on matters such as board level appointments and departures, disciplinary and grievance matters, cross-jurisdictional disputes and business re-organisations. Andrew and Ami are joined by Solicitor Ruth Butt who moves from Raworths.
