'Significant' Deal For Banking Team
Law firm Irwin Mitchell has advised listed urban regeneration and strategic land specialist, MJ Gleeson Group plc, on its refinancing with The Co-operative Bank.Gleeson specialises in housebuilding on brownfield land in the North of England with a particular emphasis on low cost homes, along with enhancing the value of land options by achieving residential planning consents on greenfield sites, primarily in the South of England.
Gleeson has had a long association with South Yorkshire as the business was founded in Sheffield by Michael Joseph Gleeson in 1903. Today, Gleeson employs over 160 people in offices based in Sheffield, Bury, Sunderland and Fleet.
