National Firm Enjoys Another Year Of Success

The chief executive of Irwin Mitchell has praised the work of its staff after the latest Legal 500 rankings revealed the leading national law firm has enjoyed another outstanding year, with 16 of its consumer and business legal teams rising up the rankings.

According to the latest figures, the firm is number one for Personal Injury across Manchester, Newcastle, Sheffield, Leeds, Birmingham and London, with the ‘outstanding’ teams being praised for being ‘committed to getting the best outcome for its clients’ and boasting ‘star quality’.

The firm is also now the top Clinical Negligence firm in each of those cities, after rising to number one in London thanks to ‘a seemingly endless supply of top-end work’ and ‘nothing but praise from clients’.

In addition, the Medical Law team in Bristol also had a strong year, following 12 months in the city in which the ‘pre-eminent’ Alison Hawes also helped the firm’s south-west Family Law practice into the rankings. The Family Law teams in Birmingham and Sheffield remain the best in their respective locations.

On the business-related services side, Irwin Mitchell saw its Commercial Litigation specialists reach the top spot in Sheffield, as well as climb up the rankings in Birmingham, London and Leeds. The debt recovery team was also number one in London, Manchester and Glasgow.

Other notable successes include the London office’s Public Law, Real Estate and Employment teams increasing their prominence in the capital.
