Irwin Mitchell Advises BIS On Agency Workers Guidelines Head Of Employment Offers Advice 05.05.2011 Leading national law firm Irwin Mitchell’s Employment Group is advising the Department of Business Information and Systems (BIS) on the content of its Guidance for the implementation of the Agency Workers Regulations. Tom Flanagan, newly appointed Head of Employment at Irwin Mitchell has been working closely with BIS to help draft and finalise the contents of its Guidance Note. The last round of public consultation ended on 15th April and the new Guidance is expected to be announced imminently, probably 6th May. Irwin Mitchell gave particular help with key issues such as the “Introduction”, putting the Regulations into context, and demystifying the issues around whether there needs to be a “comparator”.
