Irwin Mitchell's Glasgow Office Host New Year Party
Glasgow lawyers turned up the heat for a city kids’ charity as they hosted a Japanese-themed fundraising New Year party – over two months late.
Leading Glasgow law firm Irwin Mitchell hosted 45 guests, including health professionals, at the city’s Yen Teppenyaki restaurant. Guests were treated to traditional, and sometimes spectacular, Japanese cooking and a magician.
The charity party raised £330 for Yorkhill Children’s Foundation, which provides enhanced medical equipment and resources which benefit sick children and babies.
Elaine Russell said: “The Yorkhill Children’s Foundation does fantastic work for Scottish children and it’s a cause that is very close to the hearts of a lot of our staff and clients alike.
“We realise it was very late – or incredibly early – for a New Year party but it gave us all something to look forward to through the winter whilst raising valuable funds for a very worthy cause.”
