Two People Killed In Incidents
An accident at work claims expert at Irwin Mitchell has revealed her hopes that authorities work quickly to get to the bottom of two farming-related deaths in Aberdeenshire.
Reports have revealed that an 83-year-old man died following an incident at Moss-side of Drum on Sunday (January 30th), while in a separate incident in Dunecht on the same day a 62-year-old man was apparently seriously injured by a tractor.
The latter was taken to hospital but passed away overnight.
Elaine Russell, who works with those injured in incidents at work at Irwin Mitchell’s Glasgow office, said: “While only a handful of details has been released regarding both of the incidents, it is clear that there are plenty of questions which have arisen as a result of the tragic deaths.
“I hope that both the Health and Safety Executive and other local authorities are able to work both quickly and thoroughly to discover what caused these incidents.
“In addition, any information gathered could play a key role in ensuring no one else gets hurt in a similar manner.”
