Jury Inquest To Investigate Death Of Black Country Pensioner
An inquest is due to take place, beginning on Monday June 21st, to investigate the circumstances surrounding the death of an 81 year old Black Country pensioner.
Ronald Kemble from Halesowen died at Russells Hall Hospital on December 1st 2007, after being transferred there from the BUPA managed Warren's Hall Nursing Home in Tividale on 26th November following an incident.
HM Coroner for Sandwell, Dudley and Walsall, Robin Balmain, will hold the inquest before a jury, listed as a three day hearing, starting at 10.00am on 21st June at the Council House, High Street, Smethwick.
Victoria Blankstone, a medical law solicitor with law firm, Irwin Mitchell, who is representing the family, said: "Mr Kemble’s family have found it extremely hard to come to terms with what happened and very much hope that the inquest will shed light on the circumstances which led to his death."
Mr Kemble, a widower, leaves behind one daughter.
