Irwin Mitchell Help Out at Canklow Woods Primary School

Staff at law firm Irwin Mitchell gave up their desk jobs for the day to help transform a South Yorkshire primary school playground into a special place where kids can go to learn and play.

In support of the UK's largest employee volunteering day, Give and Gain Day 2010 (Friday 9 July), a 14 strong team from Irwin Mitchell helped create a pond and outdoor reading area at Canklow Woods Primary School in Rotherham.

Adrian Budgen, partner at national law firm Irwin Mitchell, said: "It was great to get together with other local businesses to help out on such a worthwhile project. It was hard work, but well worth the effort and extremely rewarding to see the grounds being transformed and the children so excited."
