John Wainwright & Co, based in Mendip Road, Radstock, admitted breaching health and safety laws at Taunton Magistrates' Court after being prosecuted by the Health and Safety Executive.
The firm was fined £10,000 and ordered to pay prosecution costs of £8,015.
