Corus Steelworks Accident
A worker who died following an accident at a Corus steelworks has been named as contractor Barry Shaw.
The 53-year-old was trapped between a lorry tractor unit and a trailer at the plant in Scunthorpe, North Lincolnshire, at about 3.30pm on Saturday.
The lorry driver lived on Top Road in South Killingholme, Humberside Police said. No-one else was involved in the incident, a police spokesman said. An investigation by the police and Health and Safety Executive is now underway.
The steelworks also witnessed tragedy on April 23, when Thomas Standerline, 26, of Burton-upon-Stather, died after he was injured while working at the plant.

Sally Rissbrook from law firm Irwin Mitchell said: "This was a shocking fatal work accident. Whilst the circumstances are currently unknown, clearly something has gone very wrong and will need to be fully investigated.
"Sadly crush injuries remain a major category of serious and fatal work accidents that far too often could have been avoided."
