Accident At Work
An investigation has been launched after a 34-year-old man was seriously hurt in a fall when a bus struck the scaffolding he was working on, the Health and Safety Executive said.
The scaffolding at Mercer Row in Louth, Lincolnshire, was being dismantled when it was hit by a Stagecoach bus.
The man was transported to hospital suffering serious facial and leg injuries.
Firefighters said the collision broke the scaffolding's wall ties.

David Urpeth from law firm Irwin Mitchell said: “This was a terrible accident at work.
“Falls from height remain a major category of work accident.
“All too often I have to help workers pursue their compensation claim following a fall from height.”
