Pedestrians Injured
Police are appealing for witnesses after four pedestrians were injured in a hit and run incident in Sheffield.
The three men and a woman, all aged in their 20s, were taken to hospital after they were hit by a car while walking along a footpath on Blackstock Road.
The driver of a Vauxhall Astra left the scene without stopping, according to the police. One of the victims, a 22-year-old man, suffered broken ribs and a broken ankle in the incident.

Claire Bracewell from law firm Irwin Mitchell said: "These accidents are a terrible illustration of how accidents can happen in a split second. They serve as a reminder that all drivers need to be full alert at all times to minimise the risk of accidents occurring.
"Our thoughts are with the families of those injured and we hope they achieve a full recovery from their injuries. Compensation for victims of road traffic accidents can be obtained even when the driver is not traced or is uninsured."
