Barnsley Canister Company
Law firm Irwin Mitchell is appealing to former workers at two Barnsley factories to come forward and help with inquiries after receiving reports of asbestos exposure.
The law firm is looking for people who worked at Barnsley Canister Company from 1965 to 1980 in both the packing and spinning departments. They are also looking for people who worked for Redfearn National Glass in Barnsley from around 1961 to 1980.
Keith Hague, a legal executive from law firm Irwin Mitchell, said: "We are investigating reports of asbestos exposure at both Barnsley Canister Company and Redfearn National Glass. We would like to speak to anybody who worked in either of these companies from around 1961 to 1980 as they may be able to offer information on the working conditions affecting the workers."
Anyone who can help should call Keith Hague at Irwin Mitchell on 0370 1500 100 or email keith.hague@irwinmitchell.com.
