Work Accident
A man was crushed to death when a skip lorry he was unloading overturned and pinned him to the ground, police have said.
David Vickers was unloading soil from his vehicle at the Adis Scaffolding site in Chesterfield, Derbyshire, when the lorry went over on to its side and crushed him.
Emergency services were called but could do nothing to save him. Firefighters used lifting equipment to raise the lorry.
Police have handed the case over to the Health and Safety Executive which has confirmed it was investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident.
A Derbyshire Police spokesman said: "We handed the case over to the Health and Safety Executive. There is no criminal investigation."
