The Grand Atlantic Hotel in Weston super Mare will remain closed until further notice. The hotel closed its doors to guests on Friday following the confirmation that two elderly guests had contracted Legionnaires.

The disease can cause difficulty breathing. It can be fatal and statistics show that between five and fifteen percent of people, who contract the disease, die.
The reported cases have been linked to high levels of legionella bacteria in the hotel's water system. All guests to the hotel in the last two weeks are now being contacted.
