Army Accident Claim Leads to Compensation

Army accident claim

While serving with the Signal Squadron, Lance Corporal Flynn was involved in an accident at Army Camp on the Army Course at Blandford in Dorset.

Mr Flynn was a rear seat passenger in a car which was involved in an accident, resulting in a collision with a tree this left Mr Flynn with serious injuries.

During the crash Mr Flynn was knocked unconscious and subsequently taken to the Dorset Hospital where he was diagnosed as having sustained a serious fracture to the right femur, significant blow to the head resulting in lacerations and concussion.

Mr Flynn was unable to return to his pre-accident employment in the Army and in fact did not return to any work and was subsequently discharged from the Army on medical grounds in December 2003.

After pursuing an army accident claim with our specialist team of solicitors, compensation was awarded for loss of congenial employment.
