Vibration white finger is a condition usually caused by repeated use of vibrating hand-held machinery such as pneumatic drills or chainsaws. Also known as VWF or Hand Arm Vibration Syndrome, the condition leaves sufferers with a loss of dexterity and feeling in the fingers and sometimes a loss of colour in the fingers and hands.

The Control of Vibration at Work Regulations 2005 were passed in order to limit exposure to vibration at work. However there are still around 3,000 new cases of vibration white finger each year.

If you have suffered discomfort, loss of feeling or any other symptoms caused by use of vibrating machinery at work, please contact us discuss making a vibration white finger claim.
