The client service apprenticeship programme is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who are articulate, motivated and have a desire to succeed. The apprenticeship programme will provide you with the tools, techniques and experience you really need to deliver excellent client service. You will work alongside experienced customer service representatives to learn the type of calls we receive, the ability to build lasting rapport and the confidence to adapt quickly in a customer service environment. You will also be given training on questioning techniques, call ownership and the opportunity develop your wider portfolio of skills in a fast paced, innovative and professional environment.
Our Client Service Apprenticeship programme is like no other, each call is different and it is the Client Expert’s role to be quick to understand and approachable and caring with their response. You will also have the tenacity to deal with varied and challenging scenarios, which may occur when speaking to one of our clients following an accident or injury.
The teams are responsible for guiding our clients through the process of making a legal claim and you will be able to use your knowledge gained throughout your apprenticeship, along with your polite, professional telephone manner to make sure that everyone you speak to will put the phone down feeling valued and that you have done the utmost to help.
As a Client Service Expert you will work in a dynamic team of 10 to 13 experienced and friendly Client Service experts, who will make you feel at home and part of the team.
Under our Client Service Apprenticeship programme you’ll receive:
- Job-specific training through working alongside experienced staff.
- A competency-based qualification to demonstrate you have the skills required to carry out the job. These are assessed by breaking down the contents of the jobs within your specific occupation into tasks called units of competences, and will be measured through observations, assessments and witness testimony.
- An NVQ level 2 in Customer Service.
Your academic and competency training will be through Sheffield City College. Sheffield City College have a renowned reputation throughout Sheffield for their apprenticeship schemes and will provide any additional support and guidance you may need.
In line with the Living Wage Foundation recommendations, we will pay you a generous salary of £15,015. - Weekly wage: £288.75
- This role will involve working on a rota basis between the hours of 8am – 8pm Monday to Friday and between the hours of 9am and 6pm Saturday and Sunday. The role is one weekend in 7 and is a total of 35 hours per week.
You will need five GCSE grades A to C or equivalent, including Maths and English. You will also need three A-level grades D or above or equivalent (these can be predicted at application stage but any offer will be subject to attaining these grades).
