Meet the Superheroes

We’re proud to introduce our team for the Superhero Tri – the first event in a new, all-inclusive disability sports series which gives participants the chance to find their inner superpower through a variety of athletic challenges.

Irwin Mitchell is an official partner of the Superhero Series, which was established by Paralympian Sophia Warner. The series aims to break down the barriers to disability sport participation by removing some of the restrictive rules which often deter people from taking part in similar events.

The Superhero Tri, on 19 August at Dorney Lake in Buckinghamshire, will see elite athletes and celebrities competing alongside ‘everyday superheroes’ – disabled participants from total beginners to amateur sportspeople. Competitors can complete the course alone, as part of a team, or with a sidekick to help them along, and there are three triathlon distances to choose from.

Our partnership with the Superhero Series is part of our ‘Don’t Quit, Do It’ campaign to encourage more of the UK’s 12 million disabled people to get involved with sport.

Visit the Superhero Series website for more information.
