On 17 August 2008 a Cessna 402C carrying four people was involved in a mid-air collision with a Rand KR-2 aircraft with one person onboard. All five people involved were killed in this tragic accident.
The plane, operated by Reconnaissance Ventures, had taken off from Coventry-Baginton Airport (England), completed flight calibration checks and was coming in to land on Runway 23 at the same airport when it collided with the other light aircraft.
