John defends a broad range of corporates and individuals who are the subject of criminal or regulatory investigation, principally in relation to serious fraud, but also in more general crime cases.
He is currently acting for clients facing prosecution for £multi-million frauds in the mobile phone and computer chip sectors, and has enjoyed significant successes in this field. John has particular expertise in Missing Trader Intra Community VAT fraud; mortgage fraud; money-laundering; confiscation and asset recovery.
He is a member of the Proceeds of Crime Lawyers Association; London Criminal Courts Solicitors Association and the European Criminal Bar Association where he spoke at the Taormina conference.
