Ed advises corporate clients in all areas of employment law, both contentious and non-contentious. His expertise includes unfair and wrongful dismissal, discrimination and other employment related claims, non-contentious advice in relation to contracts, policies, procedures and restrictive covenants, executive severance and TUPE advice in mergers and acquisitions.
In particular, Ed has expertise in dealing with complex strategic and reorganisational issues, consulting on redundancies, business transfers and outsourcing. He is regularly appointed to advise on the corporate aspects of disposals, mergers and acquisitions.
Ed provides training to clients both in-house and on external courses and presents at seminars throughout the North West. He is a regular guest speaker at the Manchester Chamber of Commerce.
