Biography

Paddy is a partner in our national Banking and Finance team. Paddy advises lenders and borrowers on all aspects of banking and finance including corporate M&A, corporate banking, real estate finance, restructuring and asset based lending. 

He has developed a reputation in Yorkshire over the last few years for being one of the “go to” finance lawyers and he has won praise for having “a very commercial approach, and excellent problem solving skills.” 

His key clients include Santander, Lloyds Banking Group, HSBC Bank, Yorkshire Bank, The Royal Bank of Scotland and Bank of Ireland.

  • Advising Santander on its new relationship and £30m loan package with northern house builder, Harron Group
  • Advising leading motor retailer, JCT 600 Group on the finance elements of its acquisition of the Gilder Group
  • Advising Lloyds Commercial Finance on restructuring its invoice discounting facilities with leading insulation distributor, Encon Insulation
