Louise works for UK property companies, developers and occupiers on all aspects of real estate law, with particular emphasis on the industrial and retail sectors. Her expertise includes advising on investment transactions including portfolio deals, development projects and landlord and tenant law.

Recent highlights:

  • IDI Gazeley: acting on the pre-letting and development of a 950,000 square foot distribution centre to Waitrose and subsequent forward sale and funding of the building to Legal & General for over £110m.
  • Advising on all matters at Magna Park, Milton Keynes, IDI Gazeley’s flagship logistics and distribution park and advised on a 650,000 square foot pre-letting and forward funding to John Lewis in 2013.
  • Wells Fargo (US bank): coordinating all real estate due diligence in England and Wales in connection with Wells Fargo’s acquisition of the £4bn former Eurohypo loan book from Commerzbank.
  • Redevco: advising on their retail portfolio including various portfolio deals, the acquisition of a retail development in Bournemouth and the redevelopment and letting of a mixed use development at Connaught Place, London W2.
  • HSS Hire Service Group: advising on all property matters relating to its UK portfolio of over 250 trading stores including numerous pre-letting agreements of industrial units as regional distribution centres.
  • Caudwell Properties: advised on the acquisition of the Audley Square site in Mayfair, a prime residential site, and continuing to advise on its subsequent redevelopment into apartments.
  • SEGRO PLC: advising on potential development options and constraints for a large strategic industrial site in north London.
