Biography

I am a Specialist in Medical Negligence and Serious Injury claims. I act for people who have been let down by the medical profession or whose lives have been changed by a serious accident.  I have acted for a number of young people who have been paralysed in road accidents and who will need specialist accommodation and care for the rest of their lives, helping them to obtain the funding for pay for these services.   I support people who have sadly lost loved ones as a result of medical negligence, such as sub-standard surgery, and I represent them at Inquests when needed.  I also help cancer patients whose illness was not diagnosed when it should have been.

What inspired you to get into law?

When I was a child I was fascinated by watching Crown Court on the telly and I wanted to be a lawyer ever since.

What is the most rewarding aspect of your role?

I see a lot of injustice in my work and it gives me huge satisfaction to play a small part in righting wrongs.  No-one can change what has happened in the past but I am able to ease the path for the future and help to give my clients some peace of mind.

What do you do away from the office?

I love salsa dancing, which started on visits to Cuba.  I keep myself amused for hours out and about with my camera, and even enter a few small photographic competitions.
