Expert Lawyers And Key Support Staff From Across Irwin Mitchell Group Recognised

National law firm Irwin Mitchell has announced 15 new partners across the country in this year’s promotion round at the Group.

Set to be formally promoted on May 1st this year, the new partners include both lawyers and senior employees in Group Services and other Group companies with seven working within the Business Legal Services division and six in the Personal Legal Services division. Two others come each from  within  IT and the Group’s debt recovery business Ascent Performance Group Limited.

The appointments also include promotions for several lawyers who began their careers at Irwin Mitchell as trainees and a number  of the new Partners joined Irwin Mitchell when the firm merged with Thomas Eggar in 2015 prompting  the  launch of Irwin Mitchell Private Wealth for high net worth clients.

The appointments in the Business Legal Services division will see Sheffield-based Real Estate specialist Kevin Fox become a partner, alongside his Manchester-based Real Estate colleagues Emily Williams and Paul Barnard. James Paton-Philip who works in Corporate and Commercial in London is also promoted, along with Daniel Hedley, who specialises in Commercial in Gatwick. Restructuring and Insolvency expert Tom Paton and Litigation specialist James Berry are both based in Sheffield.

On the Personal Legal Services front, Joanna Grewer who works in Court of Protection in Birmingham is promoted. There are also promotions in Family for Nathaniel Groarke in Manchester and Sital Fontenelle in London. Medical law specialist Emma Rush is based in Birmingham, while Asbestos-Related Disease expert Ian Toft works in the Leeds office. Sarah Griggs is a serious injury expert based in London.

The two other appointments see Graham Clark, who is Head of Strategy in IT, promoted, while Glen Walker of Ascent Performance Group Limited is made Associate Director – the partner-level equivalent for non-lawyers at Irwin Mitchell.
