Law Firm Committed To China Business Strategy
National law firm Irwin Mitchell has announced new partnerships with the China-Britain Business Council (CBBC) and the British Chamber of Commerce in China (Britcham).
CBBC operates alongside the Britcham to help bring together British and Chinese businesses, offering them support to work together in the UK, China and third markets around the world.
With 1000 members, including some of the UK’s largest and most established companies, most dynamic and innovative SMEs, as well as leading Chinese companies, the CBBC has become the partner of choice for British companies working with China.
The organisation also works alongside cities and local enterprise partnerships offering them support to build links which help drive local economic development.
Becoming a member of the two organisations means experts at Irwin Mitchell will have greater access to their extensive networks in the UK and China as well as translation support and ‘Launchpad’ services.
As members, representatives from Irwin Mitchell will attend and host events and webinars throughout the year.
Expert Opinion
This is an exciting time to be working with Chinese businesses and we are delighted to join CBBC as their work in and out of China is creating real opportunities for collaboration.
We are seeing growth in Chinese clients especially in areas such as Private Wealth where we have a strong international practice.
Our focus in services for individuals, sitting alongside our services to businesses, gives us a unique market proposition which we will continue to leverage in China and internationally. Laurence Gavin - Partner
